Regions

Regions are rectangular areas that have an effect on the player in Pogostuck. In Blender you can change the size of a region by scaling it.

Tip

To scale a region not from it’s center, place your 3D-cursor on the edge of the region and switch the ‘Transform Pivot Point’ to 3D-cursor, before scaling.

Warning

The way regions are displayed in Blender is just an empty square with its rotation locked. Any rotation made to the region will not be applied in game, as it is only possible to make axis-aligned rectangles for regions.

A region has the different types as shown in this table:

Kill

Kills the player

Split

Triggers a split. The split name is the name of the object

Double Jump

Enables Double Jump mode

Puzzle

Enables Puzzle mode

No Bonk

Kills the player if they bonk

No Boost

Disables boosting

Gravity Direction

Changes the gravity direciton in the region

Gravity Center

A gravity region that pulls the player to the center of the region

Finish

Finishes the map when entered
