Installation¶
The add-on uses Blender 4.5 LTS, so make sure you are using that version.
Note
This add-on has support for Windows and Linux platforms. There is also a MacOS version, but it is untested.
To install the add-on, download the newest release from the GitHub that matches your platform. It should be called something like pogo_blend-<version>-<platform>.zip
Video
There is a video of the Installation and Getting Started guides here. This video is meant to be supplementary, and not a substitution, to the guides, so I suggest you still read them through.
Open blender and in the top toolbar go to, Edit -> Prefrences -> Add-ons and in the top right there is an arrow that’ll open a menu where you can choose ‘Install from disk…’. Select the ZIP file you just downloaded. The add-on should now be installed and you can activate it.
Whenever you activate the add-on it will search for the Custom Maps folder. Please expand the add-ons menu and check that the preference ‘Custom Maps folder’ contains the path to the CustomMaps folder in your Pogostuck Installation. If it does not, locate your Custom Maps folder and insert it here, it shold be something like <some_path>/Steam/steamapps/common/Pogostuck/CustomMaps.

The Add-on Preferences page for more information on the available preferences.
If the path is correctly setup there will also be a button that says “Generate Pogostuck Asset Library”. This will open a new file and make an Asset Library containing some of the premade models by Superku. Go ahead and click it and wait until you return.
The add-on includes an Application Template that you can use to quickly get the skeleton of a Custom Map, and a more minimal Blender interface with most tools you don’t need hidden. You can access this Application Template through File -> New -> PogoBlend.
For updating the add-on, do the same as above and Blender will reinstall the add-on.
Go to Getting Started to start making your first map!
